Case Study - Tyler Ford

Tyler Ford is more than a place to look at cars and trucks and get haggled -- it’s where you go to work with honest folks on your next vehicle purchase. This wasn’t necessarily the case when we first began working with Tyler Ford in 2005. Excellent service, staff and products were always in place, but the public knew nothing about those outstanding attributes. In consequence, Tyler Ford was lumped in a pile with every other high-pressure, low-service dealership in the area.


To humanize the dealership and make a connection with potential customers, cue:creative set out to introduce the public to David Irwin, the dealership’s Managing Partner. Our directive has always been to show the customer who David is, and to illustrate that he is just like them, and drives a truck for the same reasons they do. Gabbing about this week’s deals would simply blend in, but David’s voice in the radio and television spots is immediately recognizable.

The outcome?

People feel like they know David. They laugh at his jokes, and relate to the experiences highlighted in the commercial spots, and when they’re ready to look for a new vehicle they go to the person they trust. They go to David Irwin at Tyler Ford to get The Real Deal.
